LENT 2020
The seasons of the year go by quickly. It is hard to believe that Lent is almost upon us. Ash Wednesday is on Wednesday week, 26th February. These words are a brief reminder to us of the proximity of Ash Wednesday & Lent. That gives us a little time to reflect on Lent and how we might make it a positive & fruitful time for us and time to prepare for it.
Taking time to get ready for Lent will ensure that we don’t miss the first week or two because we are only just getting started. Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, but we want to be ready to begin on that day, rather than just beginning to think about it.
May the Lord bless & accompany us during the Lenten Season.
TRÓCAIRE LENTEN CAMPAIGN
From next weekend Trócaire boxes will be available in the porches of both Churches.
Please support.
