The Diocese have put a full programme together to try and recreate something of the experience that Lourdes offers here at home.

The Relics will be displayed in the Cathedral of St Mary and St. Anne (North Cathedral) on Wednesday October 30th from 4pm, and then on the following day, Thursday October 31st, they will travel to the Church of the Immaculate Conception Clonakilty for veneration starting at 2pm.

THANK YOU
Sincere thanks to all who helped make Friday night last so very special, when I was awarded the Benemerenti Medal for my services to Ovens Church. It was a great honour for me and my family. It was a wonderful celebration & thanks to Bishop Fintan for presenting the medal and to the Priests who concelebrated the Mass with him.
So many people went to a lot of trouble to make the occasion very special, the choir, the parish assembly & so many others. Thank you also to all the parishioners, Farran & Ovens, who were present to show their appreciation. I am truly grateful to you all.
