SECOND COLLECTION
The Mission & Ministry Special Collection takes place at all Masses this weekend.
People have always been very generous to this collection. Last year it amounted to €35,600 & was much appreciated.
Recently Eilís Casey has taken up the role of Parish Life co-ordinator & will soon be joined by a colleague in the role of Faith Formation. Both roles are part of the office for Mission & Ministry & are funded from this collection.
The Office for Mission & Ministry will support/resource parishes & Families of Parishes with training of new Parish Pastoral Councils, Baptismal Teams, support Funeral Ministry & facilitate one-off workshops on such things as Ministers of the Word & Eucharist, Altar Servers & Choirs etc. As we renew our diocese the need for such supports is becoming more evident & need funding.

SCRIPTURE REFLECTION FOR THE WEEK
