SCRIPTURE REFLECTION FOR THE WEEK
You are what you Think

The words you use, like your thoughts, have a powerful influence on how you behave.
Reinforce your positive behaviour by telling yourself, “there is much to live for”, “life does get better”, “there is hope”.
For Further Reflection:
Proverbs 23:78.

EUCHARISTIC PROCESSION
Last Sunday, the Feast of Corpus Christi, the Body & Blood of Christ, was also the day of our Annual Eucharistic Procession after the 11.30am Mass in Ovens Church. It was a very prayerful, simple and meaningful occasion.
Thanks to all who took part, First Holy Communion children, Choir, Parish Assembly, Stewards & Altar Server. The Blessed Sacrament was brought on to the roads of our lives. The Procession concluded with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament on return to the Church.
May the same Jesus be always with us not only in our Church but also on the highways and byways of our lives each day.

Considering the Priesthood
The Diocese of Cork & Ross will host a special “Come and See” event for men considering the priesthood on Sunday, 2nd July. It will take place in Mardyke House (T12 W8RP) from 2pm to 5pm. It will be an opportunity to take a gentle initial step and to pray, share and explore if the Lord might be calling you to the priesthood.

Prayer for Vocations to the Priesthood in the Diocese of Cork & Ross
Loving God, at Baptism you have gifted each of us with a call to serve you & all people in everything we do
Give us the strength to share your message of love, justice, hope & peace in every part of our Diocese of Cork & Ross.
We ask you, Lord, for the gift of new vocations to priesthood in our diocese.
In your fatherly care, accompany those who are seeking to know your will for them.
Inspire those you invite to serve as priests & fill them with the courage to answer that call. Amen.
