FEAST OF THE BAPTISM OF THE LORD
On Sunday, 8th January we celebrate the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord, by St. John the Baptist.

On that Feast Day, Sunday next 8th January, we will have the Prayer Service at 3pm in Ovens Church for all 76 children Baptised in our parish of Ovens/Farran during the past year.
It has been 3 years since we were able to have this ceremony. We invite the families of all the children baptised to the Prayer Service and afterwards for some light refreshments in the Parish Centre.
The families have been notified by post.
In the past this ceremony has been very well received and well attended.
We hope to see as many as possible present this year also.

Our Baptism Preparation meetings can also be held again. They take place at 11am on a Saturday, as required.
