PENTECOST SUNDAY
This Sunday, 28th May we celebrate Pentecost Sunday also known as Whitsunday. The word has it’s roots in the Greek word “pentecoste”, which means 50th day. It commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles & other followers of Jesus Christ, while they were in Jerusalem celebrating the Feast of Weeks, as described in the Acts of the Apostles.
On this Tuesday, 30th May following Pentecost Sunday the Family of Parishes Third Prayer Service will take place in St. James’ Church, Ballinora at 7.30pm.
It will be a Reflection on the Fruits of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
No Holy Hour in Ovens Church on Tuesday night.

STUDENT MASS
The Annual Student Mass for all those doing Exams in the near future will be held this year in Farran Church at the 9.30am Mass on Sunday next, June 4th.

ALL IRELAND ROSARY RALLY IN KNOCK
The All Ireland Rosary Rally takes place on Saturday next, 3rd June from 1pm in Knock. It will include, a Talk, Stations of the Cross, Rosary and Holy Mass.
Main Celebrant: Archbishop Éamon Martin.
A bus will leave Ballyphehane that morning.

CEMETERY MASS
Mass will be celebrated in Kilcrea Abbey on this Friday, 2nd June at 7.30pm.
All Welcome.
If you wish you may bring a chair or stool.

PYKE THEATRE GROUP
The Annual Mass for the Deceased Members of the Pyke Theatre Group, Family & Friends will be held in the Lee Valley Golf Club on this Wednesday, 31st May at 7.30pm. Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Liam Ó hIcí.
Light refreshments will be served after Mass.
