THE RESURRECTION
Domhnach na Cásca, Easter Sunday
Suffering & Death shock us at all times.
A woman who had seen people dying during the Famine lamented, “Mo cás, is mó rud a dheineann an bás: sadly death does many a thing.
Similarly, we may have lost some battles or struggles against suffering and death and in a few dark moments may well question the goodness of God. However, we can never lose the war against suffering and death because Jesus has already won it for us by His Resurrection.
We may well feel saddened about all that is happening in Gaza, Israel and the Ukraine etc. and indeed other places. We may be saddened too by personal or family problems, yet we can feel certain of the final victory of peace and justice, thanks to the Resurrection of Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday morning, Maidin Domhnach na Cásca.
ÁR DTEANGA FHÉIN
Paidir dÍosa Aiseirithe
Go raibh ainm milis Íosa go taitneamhach scríofa ar lár mo chroíse.
A Muire, a Mháthair Íosa, go raibh Íosa agamsa agus mise ag Íosa.
Ceangal grá ‘bheith eadrainn go brách gan scaoileadh.
Amen, a Íosa, go brách ‘s choíche.
REFLECTION
To Come Home to Yourself
