SECOND COLLECTION
The Annual Second Collection for the support of Mission & Ministry in the Diocese, will be taken up at all Masses next weekend, 13th/14th May.

The Third Prayer Service will take place in St. James’ Church, Ballinora, on Tuesday the 30th May at 7.30pm.
As it will be the Tuesday following Pentecost Sunday, it will be a Reflection on the Fruits of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

The Annual Mass will take place on Tuesday week, 16th May at 7.30pm.
The Rosary at the Grottos, Farran & Ovens will continue for the month of May.

The Active Circle will meet on this Monday, 8th May at 2.30pm in the parish centre. We hope to see as many members as possible present & new members are always welcome.
LOURDES YOUNG ADULT HELPERS INFORMATION EVENING
Special Information Evening for those aged between 18 & 25 who would like to come on the Cork & Ross Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes, 22nd to 27th Sept. as a Young Adult Helper. This special meeting will take place in Mardyke House (T12W8RP) on Wednesday the 17th May at 7.30pm.

Confirmation, Scoil na nUamhanna, Ovens
On Thursday last, 4th May, Bishop Fintan Gavin administered the Sacrament of Confirmation to the young people of 6th Class, Ovens School in two Ceremonies. Fr. Kamil was the MC.
Thanks to their teachers, Michael McCarthy & Conor Murphy for preparing the young people. Thanks also to all who helped prepare for the Confirmation Ceremonies.
May the Holy Spirit guide the young people throughout their lives.
