FEAST OF OUR LADY OF THE ROSARY THIS SATURDAY, 7TH OCTOBER
The Month of October is dedicated to the Holy Rosary.
In 1206 Mary appeared to St. Dominic after he had been praying & doing severe penances because of his lack of success in combating heresy. Mary praised him for his valiant fight against the heretics and gave him the Rosary as a mighty weapon and explained it’s uses and efficacy & told him to preach it to others.
Many favours have been granted through the devout recitation of the Rosary.
The Rosary sets forth the entire life of Jesus Christ, the Passion, Death, Resurrection and Glory. Meditation on the Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious and Luminous Mysteries makes the Rosary a summary of the Gospel & of Christian Life.

BLESSED MOTHER MARY
Blessed Mother Mary, Mother of all,
You have been there for us always.
Thank you for guiding us on life’s journey.
You have been our guide & taught us to trust.
Keep us in your loving care.
Help us to know your Son Jesus better and walk in His way. Amen.
