TRINITY SUNDAY
This Sunday, the first Sunday after Pentecost is Trinity Sunday, when the Christian Doctrine of the Trinity, the three Persons of God, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, is celebrated.
In the Roman Catholic Church, it is officially known as the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity.
The Liturgical colour for Trinity Sunday is white.

Eucharistic Procession
Sunday next, 2nd June is the Feast of Corpus Christi, when we celebrate Jesus’ Real Presence with us in the Eucharist, in the Mass & in Holy Communion.
Once again we will have our Eucharistic Procession and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament after the 11.30am Mass in Ovens Church.
We invite the First Holy Communion children to lead the procession down the Church, followed by the Choir, the congregation, altar servers & the Blessed Sacrament carried by Fr. Liam.
The procession will take the usual route, turn left at the main door, out the side gate, pass the Grotto, in the main entrance to the church for Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.
Stewarding will be in place.
All Parishioners are invited to be present for this lovely occasion.

TRÓCAIRE LENTEN APPEAL
To date the total amount of money raised in our parish for the 2024 Trócaire Lenten Appeal is €6,179.
Any remaining Trócaire Boxes may be handed in to the Church at your convenience please.
Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

CEMETERY MASS
The Annual Cemetery Mass in Kilcrea Friary will be celebrated on Friday, 7th June, at 7.30pm.
You may bring a stool or chair.

CONNECT SUMMER BBQ
There will be a special CONNECT Summer BBQ for young adults aged 18 – 35 years on Thursday June 6th at 7pm in Mardyke House (T12 W8RP).
It is a wonderful opportunity to meet other young people from across the Diocese of Cork and Ross. The evening will include food, fellowship, music and much more. There is a nominal fee of €8.
To register simply go to eventbrite.ie and search for “CONNECT BBQ”. Please do spread the word. Come yourself and invite a friend.

A reminder that the Cork Diocesan Pioneer Mass will take place at 7.30pm on this Thursday, 30th May in the Church of St. Mary & St. John, Ballincollig.
Everybody is welcome to this Mass.
There will be a presentation of pins to Diamond, Golden & Silver Jubilarians after Mass, followed by refreshments.

OVENS/FARRAN ACTIVE CIRCLE
Meeting on this Monday, 27th May at 2.30pm in the Parish Centre.
This is our last meeting before the Summer Break, back again in September and new members will always be welcome.
We hope to see all members present at Monday’s meeting.
