END OF SCHOOL YEAR PRAYER/REFLECTION
At the end of this school year we give thanks to God:
For all the teaching and learning that have taken place in our school, both in and out of the classroom.
For the talents and gifts that have been shared and the challenges that have been faced.
For the burdens that have been lifted and the hurts that have been healed.
For the respect and care that have been given.
We give thanks for the friendships that have just begun and for those that have grown.
For the faith that has been lived in our daily struggles.
For the hope that has lifted our hearts on the dark days.
And for the love that has kept us going.
We give thanks for the community that we are and we ask you Lord:
Bless our students, may your Spirit inspire them with confidence and calmness, bless our families as we take our holidays, may our time together leave us with memories to cherish. Pour out your love on us that we may return renewed and refreshed to continue our journey together.
We make this prayer through Christ our Lord. Amen.
The Schools of our Parish, Scoil Mhuire Farran & Scoil na hUamhanna Ovens, received their Summer holidays a few days ago. We pray for them all as “Clann na Scoile”, “The Family of the Schools”, children, teachers, staff, parents, management & all concerned with them.
Bíodh Samhradh deas agus slán agaibh.

PRAYER REFLECTION FOR THE WEEK
Be the Change
Gandhi once said “Be the change you want to see in the world”. There’s no better place to begin than with yourself.
For Further Reflection:

CEMETERY MASSES
As we continue our Cemetery Masses through the Summer we pray through this little prayer:
Lord this evening, here in our cemetery, we remember those who have gone before us.
Their courage, commitment, generosity & hard work built this parish in harder times.
We appreciate what they have given us, the great legacy bequeathed us.
Let us in our own day Lord, continue to create a parish and place that is fitting and safe for new generations of your people.
As we look back in appreciation, we look forward with hope.
Be with us on our way Lord, so that our steps lead to you.
For them, and for ourselves, we pray the
Hail Mary……
