A CHRISTMAS BLESSING
This Christmas time, may you be filled with the wonder of Mary, the caring of St. Joseph, the eagerness of the shepherds, the determination of the Magi and the peace of the Christ Child.
We ask this at Christmas through Christ our Lord. Amen.

CHRISTMAS 2020
This year we approach a very different Christmas. But, of course, the central message is forever the same. It is of remembering the Birth of Jesus in a stable at Bethlehem. Being able to attend Mass is a very central part of that remembrance. But that too will be different this year. But Christmas is much more than one day. One may attend Christmas Mass on any of the “Twelve Days of Christmas”. That gives everyone an opportunity and all of the Masses in Ovens Church are available through Webcam. Also, there will be a Children’s Christmas Mass Live streamed from Farran Church at 10.30am on Christmas morning. It will be available through the Parish Website, Facebook Page and Whats App Link.
Please observe HSE & Government guidance at all times. Those who attend Mass from outside of our Churches are asked by Government guidelines to remain in their cars during the Mass.
Please observe social distancing when visiting the crib.

It is important also to remember that after the Christmas lights and trees come down and the Christmas music no longer plays on radio and television we may well ask “What happens next”? The wonder and awe of Christmas is only just beginning. Christmas reminds us that the Child born in Bethlehem has given us a purpose for living.
What happens next largely depends on how we live His Gospel in our lives every day.
