Revised Covid 19 restrictions came into effect last week. With regard to the Churches, our numbers will increase from 50 to approx.160 in Ovens and 150 in Farran. Every second seat will now be available. This will make a big difference.
It is important that people spread out around the Church – re social distancing. Peoples own personal observance in this is very important. Families should take the same seat. Face masks will continue to be necessary.

Sincere thanks to our stewards who have done wonderful work and they will continue to be needed for some time yet, in guiding people to their seats. It won’t be necessary to check numbers.
Again, sincere thanks to everyone for their understanding and co-operation.
Please let people know of the revised numbers.

CENTENARY OF THE LEGION OF MARY
The Legion of Mary was founded 100 years ago in Dublin on the Vigil of the Birthday of Our Lady, 7th September 1921.
It has been a tremendous lay movement, not only in Ireland, but in many countries around the world. Many wonderful people in every parish in the country, including our own of course, have been part of The Legion of Mary and have given wonderful service & do so to this day.
The well – known and dedicated Frank Duff was a founding member and Edel Quinn from Kanturk was also very prominent, but especially abroad.
We give thanks for the work, ministry and witness of the Legion of Mary over the last 100 years and particularly in our own parish.
