A MORNING PRAYER
Listen to creation waking.
Listen to the silence of nature.
Listen for the silence behind the sound.
What is the dawn saying?
What is waiting nature saying?
You are part of nature.
Listen to its song and become one with it.
If there is a song in your heart, listen to it too.
There is also silence in your heart.
Listen to the silence.

NOTICE FROM THE ONE FAMILY PROJECT
You will remember that a group called The One Family Project set up in Ovens/Farran last Spring to sponsor a Syrian refugee family to come & live in our community. The Project is delighted to report that the Aljedid family has arrived in Ovens. Lilian & Yezen will attend Ovens National School. Their Dad is parenting on his own as sadly their Mum was killed during the war in Syria. The Aljedid family is starting a new chapter in their lives, thanks to the generosity and kindness of hundreds of people in our community.
The team at the One Family Project is very grateful for all the encouragement and support and know that you will extend the warmest of welcomes to our new neighbours.
