NOVEMBER
Our Dead are always with us and in our memories. But November is a special month when we place particular emphasis on them. You will see in this newsletter our Parish timetable of Masses. This well known prayer strikes a chord with each of us as we remember our recently deceased or those who may have died in recent years or even many years ago. The memories of our dead remain forever fresh.

REFLECTION FOR NOVEMBER
RESPONSE “WE REMEMBER THEM”
In the rising of the sun and its going down ………We remember them
In the blowing of the wind and the chill of the Winter ………We remember them
In the opening of the buds and the warmth of Summer ………We remember them
In the rustling of the leaves and in the beauty of Autumn ………We remember them
In the beginning of the year and when it ends ………We remember them
When we are weary and in need of strength ………We remember them
When we are lost and sick of heart ………We remember them
When we have joys we yearn to share ………We remember them
So long as we live, they too shall live, for they are part of us as ………We remember them
When we grow old and forgetful we still know ………God remembers them.

SAFEGUARDING
One of the impacts of Covid was a rise in the amount of “screen time”. Finding ourselves spending more time ‘looking down than looking up’. This is especially worrying for our children. Please check out these useful websites with resources for keeping our children safe online:
