PRAYER TO OUR LADY OF LOURDES
Our Lady of Lourdes, your divine Son has often sent you to teach and inspire His people on earth.
I come before you today, with confidence that you will hear my needs and intercede for me with Your Son, Jesus.
Just as He heeded your word on earth, He will grant what you ask in Heaven.
Pray for me and those I love, dear Mother, that we may always be accepting of what your divine Son wills for us. Amen.
Our Lady of Lourdes, pray for us.

CLIMATE CHANGE
God ever moving and ever still, across billions of years the face of the Earth has altered and changed has sweated and shivered.
In our era, climate change happens faster, speeded by the stuff we spew into the atmosphere.
By His command to love, your Son set in motion another kind of change.
Neither the Cross nor the Tomb could hold him captive and by His Resurrection from the dead He triggered a current that melts the ice caps of cruelty and sin.
Lord God, help us to enjoy and expand His Climate of love by replacing cruelty with kindness, jealousy with gladness, resentment with forgiveness. Lead us to excuse rather than blame, to trust instead of being suspicious.
May these be the clean qualities we pump into the atmosphere around us so that our hearts and minds may freely breathe your Spirit of Love.
Amen.
