ALL IN THE APRIL EVENING
All in the April Evening
April airs are abroad.
The sheep with their little lambs passed me by on the road.
The sheep with their little lambs passed me by on the road.
All in the April evening I thought on the lamb of God

The lambs were weary and crying with a weak human cry.
I thought on the lamb of God going meekly to die.
Up in the blue, blue mountains dewy pastures are sweet, rest for the little bodies rest for the little feet.

But for the lamb, the Lamb of God
Up on the hilltop green
Only a cross, a cross of shame
Two stark crosses between.

All in the April evening
April airs were abroad, I saw the sheep with the lambs and thought on the Lamb of God.

PRAYING THE PSALMS
PSALM NO. 40

How many, O Lord my God, are the wonders and designs that you have worked for us: You have no equal.
Should I proclaim and speak of them, they are more than I can tell!

In the sacredness of the night, we move beyond the visible, into the core of our being where we know we are known completely, loved unconditionally by our creator.

THANK YOU
Farran Hall Committee in association with the Red Cross, wish to extend a massive ‘Thank You’ for the kindness and generosity of the people of Farran & Ovens for the amount of goods donated for the Ukrainian Appeal last weekend.
A very special ‘Thank You’ to our Volunteers who gave up their time to help and support this humanitarian crisis. Also we wish to thank both national schools, their principals & pupils, also 96FM, RedFM and the parish newsletter staff for letting people in the community know of this Appeal.
What was achieved was truly a hand of friendship extended to a brother/sister in love and understanding.
