PRAYING THE PSALMS
AN EASTER PSALM
The Heavens proclaim the glory of God and the firmament shows forth the work of God’s hands.
Day unto day takes up the story; and night unto night makes known the message. Psalm 91.
Creation, beginning time, before time, in time, all time.
Creation, ongoing story, never complete.
Creation, arising out of emptiness returning to emptiness, in a ceaseless rhythm of new beginnings, from the hands of our creator.
EASTER CEREMONIES
It was good to be able to return to our Easter Ceremonies in person this year for the first time since 2019. Thanks to all those who attended the Holy Week Ceremonies and to those who prepared them.
Thanks also to all who made the arrangements for the very well attended Dawn Mass at 5.30am in Kilcrea Abbey on Easter Sunday morning. Despite the inclement weather a large crowd attended the Mass. It is always a very special occasion in a special place.
