TRÓCAIRE
TOGETHER FOR A JUST WORLD FOR 50 YEARS
Since 1973, your compassion and generosity have been an enduring source of inspiration and support in the fight against poverty and injustice.
Together with our loyal partners, we have supported women, men and children facing violence and oppression. Together with global communities, we have helped to create positive, lasting change all over the world.
With your support, we will continue to tackle the underlying causes of poverty and injustice and respond to the crises they create.
It is only when we work together that we can build a truly just world.
For the past 50, and the next 50, Thank You.
Trócaire Boxes are available in the porches of both Ovens & Farran Churches.

Cross of Hope for Lent
From this weekend the large wooden cross will be in place in the sanctuary of both our Churches.
During the Season of Lent Parishioners are invited to come quietly & in their own time to place their message of hope for Lent in the box, which will be placed near the cross. A basket will also be in place with spare paper and pens on which you may write your message.
Their hope for this Lent may be for themselves, a family member, a friend or neighbour, the Church or the world.
May he enlighten the eyes of your mind, so that you can see what hope his call holds for you. (Eph: 1:18).
FAITH & FREEDOM
From 9th March the group “Faith & Freedom” will present the world renowned course called “Alpha” in the “ Annex” attached to the Community Hall, Ballincollig, each Thursday night at 7.30pm.
Night will begin with tea/coffee and refreshments followed by a teaching video via screen followed by discussion in small groups, 7 to 10 max. guaranteed to finish by 9pm.
The whole idea is to have a look at what our lives & existence is all about. “Truth will set you free”, so what is the truthful way we’re encouraged to live our lives? Not a bunch of do’s and don’ts but a life full of peace, love & joy. Isn’t that what we’d all ask for.
Please note the dates & times above.
