We bless you, Lord, for your Spirit within and among us.
We bless you for the listening that you nourish in each of us,

We bless you for blessing us along the path of life. Through Christ Our Lord. Amen.

DAY OF PRAYER FOR VOCATIONS
This Sunday, the Fourth Sunday of Easter is Good Shepherd Sunday, a day of special prayer for vocations to the work of service in the Church.
The Church is a sheepfold & also the flock, of which God himself foretold that he would be the Shepherd & whose sheep, even though governed by human shepherds, are nourished and led by Christ himself, the Good Shepherd, who gave His life for His sheep.
On this, World Day of Prayer for Vocations. let us pray for vocations to the Priesthood & Religious Life.
PRAYER REFLECTION FOR THE WEEK
Give thanks Every Day
Finding time to pray every day will always be a challenge, because prayer is a learnt behaviour. So, when you wake up, say, “Lord, thank you for giving me this new day. Help me to rejoice and be glad in it”.

CONFIRMATION. SCOIL MHUIRE FARRAN
On Tuesday last, 25th April Bishop Fintan Gavin administered the Sacrament of Confirmation to the young people of Scoil Mhuire Farran, 44 in total. Fr. Kamil was the MC.
It was Bishop Fintan’s first official visit to our Parish.
It was a very beautiful ceremony & well prepared by their teachers, Miss Dunlea, Miss Twomey, Mr. Mannix & Mr. Lehane & with the help & co-operation of the school staff, parents & principal Mr. O’Donoghue. Thanks to Mary O’Callaghan for the Remembrance leaflet.
The Church & ground were well prepared. It is an opportunity to thank all who look after the cleaning of the Church, maintenance of the grounds & also the beautiful flower arranging. Thanks to the Ministers of the Eucharist, Sacristan Anne Brennan & altar servers and to all involved. Refreshments after the ceremony were provided by the Parents Association in a packed Farran Hall & were much appreciated.
May the Holy Spirit accompany & guide the young people throughout their lives.
