Second Collection

A Second Collection will be taken up at all Masses next weekend, 11th/12th November. This is the Annual Collection for Marriage Support.

FARRAN COMMUNITY HALL
In Farran Hall on Saturday next, 11th November at 7pm, a Cork made murder mystery movie, Coast Road, will be shown.
There is nothing like a good old fashioned murder mystery movie on a Winter’s night and this movie was made in Cork. Come along & join friends & enjoy this crowd pleasing, award winning film made by Cork based Hard Bargain Pictures.
You will be supporting a new film project to be made in Cork next year, a ghost story set in 1900 Cork County.
The film’s producer/director will be introducing the film & explaining the new film’s concept.
Tickets €10 and can be purchased at the door on the night.

AHERLA FLOWER & GARDEN CLUB
The Aherla Flower and Garden Club will hold a Christmas Flower Demonstration by Margaret Ahern, Ballincollig Flower & Garden Club on this Monday, November 6th in the Parish Centre at 8.30pm.
Visitors welcome, admission €5.
Light refreshments served.

ALTAR SERVERS
We would love to have some more Altar Servers, so any 3rd, 4th or 5th Class pupils who would like to become an Altar Server, please contact the sacristy after the weekend Masses or the Parish Office during office hours.

OVENS/ FARRAN ACTIVE CIRCLE
We meet this Monday, 6th November at 2.30pm in the Parish Centre. We hope to see as many members as possible present.

TREE OF REMEMBRANCE
Our Tree of Remembrance for those who died in our Parish and outside the parish is now in place and will remain there for the month of November.
On Friday night the Mass of Remembrance was held and the names of the deceased were placed on the tree by family members and lights were placed on the Remembrance Cross.
